Joe and his apprentice, Julius, are truly some of the best professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. My fiancé and I spoke with several electricians, but after Joe’s first visit and thorough 26-point electrical inspection, it was clear that he and his team were the most qualified and best suited to handle our electrical panel upgrade as well as our outlet upgrades and installations. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed safely, correctly, and to the highest standard. Throughout the entire process, Joe kept us informed about what he was doing and explained the reasoning behind each decision. I also want to highlight the exceptional care they took in cleaning up after the work was completed. From laying down drop cloths in all work areas to even bringing out their own Swiffers to remove any remaining debris, their attention to detail was truly impressive. I’ve never seen professionals so meticulous about leaving a space as clean as they found it—there was no trace they had even been there. Even the freezing cold temperatures had no effect on these two, completing the entire job within the time frame he described. In today’s world, it’s incredibly rare to find someone who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely committed to providing excellent service at a very competitive price. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Joe and DEC Electric, Inc. again for any future projects, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of electrical services in the NE Ohio region. I had an electrical issue and called Dec Electric.  Joe arrived on time and did an inspection of the whole house.  I appreciated the fact that I was told exactly what I needed to do for safety reasons vs what I could do just to upgrade at my convenience. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the incredible work Joe and his apprentice Julius did on my full home rewire. From start to finish, their professionalism, respect, and attention to detail were on an entirely different level. Joe treated my home as if it were his own — he didn’t just do the job, he made sure it was done right. He took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I understood exactly what was being upgraded and why. What impressed me most was the level of care and pride Joe put into his work. Every wire, outlet, and panel was meticulously done — not rushed, not cut corners. After each day of working, Joe and Julius cleaned up behind themselves, even going as far as to swiffer the floors. That level of respect is rare and meant so much to me. It’s clear they aren’t just doing electrical work — they’re protecting families and homes. I also want to take a moment to recognize Julius. On the days he was here on his own, he was incredibly focused, well-mannered, and clearly applying Joe’s training to the best of his ability. He has a natural professionalism about him that makes you feel completely comfortable having him in your home, whether you are there or not. His attention to detail and respect for my space were outstanding, and it’s clear he takes real pride in his work. He’s a remarkable representation of Joe’s standards and the future of a truly quality tradesman. There is truly no price cap on quality and trusted electrical work, especially when you consider that electrical issues are the number one cause of house fires. Knowing my home was rewired with such skill, integrity, and safety in mind gives me complete peace of mind. I have worked with a number of contractors throughout this renovation, and while everyone brought something valuable to the table, the level of care, communication, and craftsmanship that Joe and Julius delivered genuinely stands apart. I had an experience with Dec Electric Inc. for an electric repair job in my home. Joseph was professional, timely, and informative. Joseph's knowledge and his 15 year experience in his electrical trade completed the repair in a timely fashion. We are satisfied with his work ethics and the effort. We hired Joe for multiple indoor and outdoor light fixture installations, and his work exceeded our expectations. He custom-fitted a photocell switch to the lamp post we chose for our lawn and even handled the concrete work needed to install the heavy fixture securely. In addition, he installed four outdoor garage lights, two kitchen chandeliers, and a bathroom vanity light. Joe also inspected our panel board and provided valuable recommendations, which we truly appreciated. He was highly professional throughout—taking the time to answer all our questions both before and during the installation process. We had a great experience with Dec Electric doing the electrical hook up for our hot tub. Joseph delivered high-quality work, was efficient, and got our job done right away. Pricing was fair and transparent, and his communication throughout the process was excellent. Highly recommend!
